Title: Open Source Video Game Engine
Author: AliveMOon
Genre: Open Source Game Engin
Platform: Platforms: WinXp DX9, EFIKA with Linux OpenGL (and any other I can lay my hands on)

This project has nothing to do with the other Grandpace games.

I just started doing it for my own entertainment and edification; but who knows, it turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I am proud that I was able to write such a piece of software even though I am a graphic artist. This software is open source, however if you find this engine useful, I would be grateful to see some gifts in exchange. :)

e.g.: An old dream of mine is to assemble a Harley from parts... so just send me parts, or tools. Or HUF2500 if it's easier for you and I'll save up for those things. This may sound cheap, but I would feel good that I was worhty. :)

(I'd be delighted seeing our delivery person approaching with a V-block or with a truckload of pliers :) )

Anyway, please check back regularly, because newer and more interesting samples will show up on the page.

In case you have sent me any kind of interesting present, rest assured, I will help you with any problems you might face when developing your own game with this engine.

If you want to try out the physical model: DOWNLOAD "sailing_v0_29.zip" (2 MB ZIP) ,unzip it, and run "sailingRACE.exe" to start the game.

Use the "a" and "d" keys to turn the sail, and the left and right arrow keys to turn the ship. I suggest that you should use Joypad to control the ship. I 've tested the game with Logitech RumblePad. The game's objective is to touch the flags in correct order as fast as you can, and return to the 1. flag to finish a round.
    Have fun :)
